In total I've stayed there for ten days. Let's talk about what I did in these days. :)
The airport was in Barcelona, I think and my niece lives like six hours away. We just basically drove half the day back to her home. She lives in Granada with her Spanish boyfriend. But as you know I got that night freaking food poisoning.
I luckily felt good the next morning. I went with my niece to the centre, and a little bit of shopping. Granada is a beautiful city and mush different compared with The Netherlands. The Netherlands has almost no mountains. Every other country in Europe does have beautiful mountains.
When I was planning on to go to Spain I knew I wanted in any case to go to the beach. I loveee the beach. My niece knew that I really wanted to go the beach. I didn't know the schedule of what were gonna do these days and then she surprises me with a trip to the beach. We stayed at a cottage on the beach. I loveeee her so damn mushh. I don't know annymore what the village was called where we went.
The weather was not really, you know, beachy. Simply said cold. So we went to a local bird park. It was funn. There were also other animals like, meerkats and little monkeys.
Today was finally beach weatherr. We stayed on the beach, we went swimming. We also found baby ducks. So cuteeee. The ducks turned out to have a owner, a boy. Later on we walked along the beach promenade.
And on this day, it was very cold again jeezz. But it was also a holiday here, which is called dia de la cruz (day of the cross) in the village. All girls and women were dressed up in traditional clothes (from spain). Some boys were too but not so many. It was super cutee, those little girls in Spanish dresses.
On this day we left the beach house and went back to Granada. We just went to centre again to eat some dinner. Not quite a special day
On this day it was blooody hell hot. What's up with the weather in Spain. My niece and I went to a local park and we just were sunning there on the grass. Later we had a drink with her friend and her daughter who's has my age. I like her. We walked all the way up to have a beautiful view on the Alhambra. A famous palace in Granada, the tourist attraction there.
My last day in Spain. Well second last. On this day we went again to the centre but the other side. We went to a very beautiful restaurant. It was in a Arabic style. They had warm white chocolate milk and of course I took it. We stayed in the centre for a short time because we needed to take the bus from Granada to Barcelona. This time because it was easier with bus than with the car. We came veryy late in Barcelona. We stayed the night with the sister of the boyfriend from my niece.
I've had to wake up at freaking 4 hours in the freaking morninggg. Uuuughh. We took a train to the airport. I hate it that the air plane leaves at ( example) 8:30 but you have to wake up like 4:00, beause, 1 hour getting ready, 1 hour travel, you need to check in 2 hours earlier before the plane leaves. Ugggggh. And I had a boring travel buddy. Lol, read part 1 if you didn't already then you know what I'm talking about
This was it for my adventure in Spain. I missed it so mushh. I'm planning to go again this summer. And I totally recommand going to Granada if you like to visit a town where it is not so crowded as in Madrid or Barcelona.
This was it for now, thanks for reading and see you next time.
